The City of Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish Government are hosting a Recycling Day on Saturday, May 7 from 8 am until Noon at Zemurray Park at 406 Oak Street in Hammond.
No commercial materials will be accepted, this is household items only.
Accepted items include bulbs, computers, electronics, TV’s, propane bottles, cooking oil, oil-based paints, tires and more.
They cannot accept ammunition, fireworks, furniture, construction debris, appliances, power tools and more.
