The St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office has arrested another man – the third one this month – for committing sexual acts in a public parking lot.
A deputy, who was patrolling in the area of Highway 1085 and Highway 1077, was flagged down by a citizen around midday Thursday (April 28) in reference to a man who was observed in his vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
The individual had left his vehicle and was inside one of the stores picking up an order when the deputy arrived.
Upon exiting the store the man was confronted by deputies, confessed and was taken into custody.
Travis Manint (DOB 4/27/1980) of Covington is being booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on one count of Obscenity, which is a felony.
