
Registration is OPEN for camps with the Children’s Museum of St Tammany.
Parents/Guardians of a child entering the 2nd-5th grades in the 2022/2023 school year and meeting the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply for a $250 Camp Scholarship for NASA’s Astro Camp facilitated at the Children’s Museum of St. Tammany. Scholarships for this camp were made possible through a grant by the Fore!Kids Foundation. Scholarships are granted by need on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one per camper. The application must be signed by the camper’s current school Principal, Assistant Principal, or School Guidance Counselor as proof that they meet the eligibility requirements. The application deadline is May 20, 2022. Astro Camp scholarships are available for the weeks of June 13-17, July 11-15, and August 1-4.
There are two fun camps this summer.
Camp Curiosity Weekly Summer Camp if for Ages 4-7. It is a Five-day camp – 9:00AM – 3:00PM. There is a max of 20 campers each week and camp staff are current Museum facilitators. There are weekly themed activities, Museum free play, visits to the Kids Konnection Playground. This camp does not take field trips.
NASA Stennis Space Center’s ASTRO CAMP is for Incoming 2nd-5th graders. The camp is from 9:00AM – 3:00PM with a max of 20 campers per week. Camp staff are current Museum facilitators trained by NASA Education Specialists. Field trips return. Campers will visit Infinity Space Center in Pearlington, MS. on the third Thursday of each session.
