Mandeville Police Department offered their thanks to Deputies with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in locating a stolen car and apprehending a suspect.
Sunday morning, March 20, Officers with Mandeville Police Department were dispatched to a local restaurant where a vehicle was stolen from the establishment.
Officers were able to pull cameras and observe the vehicle driving north on Highway 59.
The vehicle information was provided to Deputies with STPSO.
Shortly after, Deputy Tassin located the vehicle in Abita Springs.
A traffic stop was initiated and led to the arrest of 35 YO Chad Cox, and the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
