The Hammond Police Department was asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection to a theft that occurred on February 24, 2022, at approximately 5:00 pm, at Porky’s Boudin, located at 910 Southwest Railroad Avenue.
HPD detectives learned the suspect was 36 YO Christopher Henningsen of Slidell.
On March 4, HPD received information that the suspect was at the Quality Inn, located at 2001 Southwest Railroad Avenue, where he was taken into custody.
The Hammond Police Department would like to thank the community for their help in both identifying and locating the suspect.
