A 19 YO high school senior has died following a crash Tuesday morning in French Settlement, according to the superintendent of Livingston Parish Public Schools.
The crash happened on LA 16 around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 between Mitchell Road and Shane Drive and involved two vehicles.
Authorities identified the victim as Emalea Sanchez, a senior student at French Settlement High School.
Livingston Parish Public Schools Superintendent Joe Murphy said he asked that the greater Livingston Parish community join them in offering prayers for comfort to all who are hurting.
