Yesterday members of the STPSO accepted a donation in the amount of $20,000 from a local business owner who wanted to remain anonymous.
The business owner wanted to recognize the hard work and dedication that Detective Fred Foltmer does on a daily basis going above and beyond investigating property related crimes.
With that being said, the donor asked Detective Foltmer what organizations he would like the donation to go towards. Detective Foltmer chose the Fraternal Order of Police and the St. Tammany Deputy’s Association.
Both of these organizations assist deputies in times of need, as well as numerous community programs such as “Shop With a Cop” and the delivering of Thanksgiving baskets to families across our parish.
STPSO thanks their donor, saying that donation will help so many during their time of need.
