Classes were quickly canceled yesterday at Pope John Paul II High School after an SUV crashed through a building on campus.
The incident happened before students arrived and no one was injured in the incident, including the adult driver of the vehicle who said the SUV’s brakes failed during an attempt to park.
The school decided to cancel classes out of an abundance of caution to allow architects and electrical engineers to inspect the damaged building.
School was expected to resume today.
