There are two Healthier Northshore Coasting into Wellness events coming up this month.
The first will be held at the COAST Covington Center at 19404 N 10th Street, Covington, on Friday, January 21 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM.
And the second will be at the COAST Slidell Center at 610 Cousin Street in Slidell on Friday, January 28 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM.
With the start of a new year, Healthier Northshore and COAST are teaming up to help you rededicate yourself to good health with this fun and easy “round the world” health fair, which is FREE and open to members of the public 50 and older as well as COAST employees.
Participants will each receive a “passport” and collect stamps by participating in screenings and other events, with each stamp earning an entry in a raffle. (Prizes to be announced.)
With the assistance of St. Tammany Health System, Ochsner Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, LA Dept of Health, COAST, YMCA, St. Tammany Public Library, START community health clinic, NAMI and others, the day will include: Screenings, Educational seminars, Exercise opportunities, Community resources, COVID-19 vaccines, and more.
