In St Tammany the temporary sidewalk crossing at LA 59 and the Tammany Trace tunnel is expected to remain closed for three weeks.
The closure is part of the permanent tunnel and LA 59 straightening project.
During this closure, bicyclists and walkers should avoid this area as there is not currently a safe way to cross LA 59.
