
State/Federal Disaster Recovery Centers in Amite City, Belle Chasse and New Orleans will convert to U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Belle Chasse, New Orleans and Greensburg.
SBA’s Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West says the transition of the Amite City, Belle Chasse and New Orleans Disaster Recovery Centers to SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Centers will better meet the current needs of residents in Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Helena Parishes.
SBA customer service representatives will continue to answer questions, explain the application process, help businesses and individuals apply for a low-interest disaster loan and close their approved disaster loans.
No appointment is necessary.
Orleans Parish will be in New Orleans Public Library – Main Library on the First Floor at 219 Loyola Ave. It opens at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 24 and closes at 4:30 p.m. Mondays – Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Fridays – Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. It will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 25 -26 for Thanksgiving.
The Plaquemines Parish location will be in the Plaquemines Parish Building – Annex Building, Old Courthouse at 301 Main Street in Belle Chasse. It will be open at 12 p.m. Monday, November 22 then go Mondays – Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Closed Thursday and Friday, November 25 -26 for Thanksgiving.
The St. Helena Parish location will be at Audubon Regional Library – St. Helena Branch, at 6108 LA-10 in Greensburg. It opens at 12 p.m. Monday, November 22 then will go Mondays – Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.– 1:00 p.m. It will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 25 -26 for Thanksgiving.
