Over the weekend the Hammond Police Department received a tip on the whereabouts of Del’uke Day, 20 years old of Hammond.
Day was taken into custody, with the assistance of the Tangipahoa Parish Sherrif’s Office, without incident.
Day was wanted for an incident in the Sun Lane area with shots being fired and a single victim being struck. A warrant had been issued for Attempted Second Degree Homicide.
