The application deadline for SBA disaster recovery loans for physical damage has been extended to Nov. 29, 2021.
The deadline for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) remains May 28, 2022.
In other news, the Disaster Recovery Center in Slidell will permanently close on Friday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m.
Those who need assistance to file their applications may go to any of the DRCs in the state.
The SBA also has Virtual Recovery Centers locations open that can be accessed online at https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov. The virtual center can be contacted at FOCWAssistance@sba.gov or by phone at (800) 659-2955, Mondays through Sundays from 9 am to 9 pm, Central Time.
