
FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers have been opened at the Fritchie Park Gym in Slidell and the American Legion in Bogalusa to help survivors affected by Hurricane Ida.
Survivors can get help with their FEMA applications, upload documents and get questions answered about federal disaster assistance.
The Slidell center is located at Fritchie Park Gym on 905 W. Howze Beach Road in Slidell. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; Sundays Closed.
In Bogalusa, the center is located at the American Legion at 63349 Hwy. 10 in Bogalusa. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

All centers will follow COVID-19 precautions. Masks will be required by both FEMA specialists and survivors.
