Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,048 new COVID-19 cases reported to the state since Tuesday.
952 individuals were hospitalized with COVID across Louisiana.
The report included cases among all age groups. 30% of cases were among children ages 17 and younger.
The report also included cases from all regions. 32% of all new cases are from Region 8 (Northwest, 18%) and Region 7 (Northeast, 15%).
50 new COVID deaths were reported, bringing our death toll to 13,900.
