
A lengthy Slidell-area narcotics investigation concluded with the arrest of six individuals last week.
Following a months-long investigation, members of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, with the assistance of members of the STPSO Special Operations Division, K9 Division, Major Crimes Unit and Criminal Patrol Division, executed search warrants Friday (September 24) at two Slidell-area residences.
At the homes, which were located in the 37000 block of Ben Thomas Road and in the 800 block of Magnolia Street in Slidell, detectives seized 7 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 2.5 pounds of marijuana, approximately 5 grams of fentanyl/heroin mixture, numerous pills including Hydrocodone, 14.9 grams of powdered cocaine, 63.9 grams of meth, 29.5 grams of heroin, and a Glock 9mm with a tactical pistol light and an extended magazine.
Detectives also seized $1,712 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales and a 2015 Nissan Altima, which was used to facilitate the drug sales.
As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Wayne Bernard (DOB: 12/15/1994), Eric Adams (DOB: 9/07/1993), Jasmine Kirsh (DOB: 10/12/1989), Ella May Smith (DOB: 7/13/1957), and Samuel Sanders (DOB: 9/15/1960) on multiple drug charges.
