Amite High Magnet School said they sadly share the loss of one of their most dedicated and spirited teachers, Mrs. Sharnwanika Cotton-Pittman.
Officials said she always had a friendly smile and encouraging word, and Mrs. Cotton’s heart beat purple and gold as she carried out her many school roles.
The teacher did a version of the national anthem that went viral and was shared nationwide.
