
All St. Tammany Parish Library branches with the exception of the Madisonville Branch location, will open Monday, September 13, with limited weekday hours.
The Madisonville Branch remains closed because of damage from Hurricane Ida.
The branches are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 5p.m.
Patron Wi-Fi at the open branches is restored which means Wi-Fi is accessible in the branches during open hours, as well as in the parking lot of each branch from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Public computers will shut down at 4:45 p.m.
Fines are waived and faxes and printing are free through October 9.
All scheduled Adult Programs will go on as scheduled the week of September 13. Storytime Outside will go forward as scheduled at 9:30 a.m. at these locations: Covington Trailhead, Tuesday, September 24; Slidell Branch Outside, Wednesday, September 15; Mandeville Trailhead, Thursday, September 17.
The Friends of the Slidell Library Used Book Sale scheduled for Saturday, September 18, will go forward as scheduled in the meeting room of the Slidell Branch, 555 Robert Boulevard, from 9 a.m. – 3p.m.
Children’s outdoor programming at the Abita Springs, Bush, Lee Road, Pearl River, Lacombe, Folsom, and Madisonville branches is cancelled.
Social Media Literacy, a virtual event scheduled for Monday, September 13, at 6 p.m. is cancelled.
All Teen events for the week of September 13 are cancelled. All events scheduled for Saturday, September 18, are cancelled.
