
Slidell Police are investigating a carjacking, which occurred outside of Panera Bread at 70 Town Center Parkway.
Shortly after 7:30 pm on Tuesday September 7, Slidell Police responded to a carjacking outside of Panera Bread. The victim stated she was getting into her car, at which time the suspect brandished a firearm, grabbed her keys, forced his way into the vehicle, and fled the area. The victim was unharmed during the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a tank top, blue gym shorts, and being of average height and build.
The stolen vehicle is described as a black 2016 Mercedes E350, bearing Texas license plate LXH5097. The vehicle can further be identified by a deep scratch across the middle of the front driver’s side door.
