Saturday and Sunday morning (9/4-9/5) at Bayou Adventure in Lacombe the Gulf Coast Disaster Relief organization will be prepping for and handing out a total of 6,000 meals.
Help is needed from 7:00am until 7:00pm both days.
Tammy Logan Larson and Shannon Griffin Bordelon are leading the efforts and family, friends and neighbors will be out there pitching in as well.
Help is needed Saturday mainly food prep and Sunday is some food prep but mostly distribution.
The Lacombe area is in serious need of food and water as most residents were hit very hard and some have no means to access much needed services. Please consider helping out even if it is for an hour or two.
