The New Orleans Saints will open the 2021 season in Jacksonville against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 12.
The game, originally meant to be played in the Caesars Superdome, will be moved after damage and power outages caused by Hurricane Ida.
The Superdome was largely unscathed but the lack of power in the stadium will prevent the scheduling of any major events.
The kickoff will remain at 3:25 p.m.
Meanwhile the Saints are training in Texas on the Texas Christian University campus until power in the Metro area is restored and all coaches, players and support staff can return safely with their families.
