The 22nd Judicial District Court for the Parishes of St. Tammany and Washington and the St. Tammany Parish Clerk of Court’s office and the Washington Parish Clerk of Court’s office shall be closed continuing through Thursday, September 2, 2021 and will reopen on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. unless extended further.
All civil matters, juvenile matters, child support, and protective order matters noticed for August 30, 2021, through September 2, 2021, will be reset and notice given.
Any defendants scheduled to appear in court during August 30, 2021, through September 2, 2021, for criminal court, bond court or misdemeanor court, should report to the courthouse between September 8, 2021, and September 10, 2021, to be re-served with a new court date.
Specialty Court matters scheduled for Monday, August 30, 2021, through Thursday, September 2, 2021, including those scheduled by video-conferencing (i.e. via Zoom) are canceled for these dates. Video court hearings with the jail by Zoom are canceled for August 30, 2021, through September 2, 2021.
