The number of hospitalized patients dropped for the first time in weeks in Louisiana, standing at 2,838 patients.

As of yesterday, St Tammany Health System said they had 89 COVID-19 patients after hitting a high of 114 on Aug. 9. They are still seeing about half of their inpatients for COVID-19, with just short of 90% of them unvaccinated. The patients are trending younger too.
