What started as a traffic stop in the Seventh Ward ends in as a crash with injuries in Lakeview.
Louisiana State Police said they tried to stop a driver on North Claiborne and Franklin Ave. around 7 p.m. Monday for a traffic violation.
According to police that is when a chase ensued across town.
The chase ended when the driver of the car being pursued hit another car at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Milne Boulevard in Lakeview.
3 adults were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. A one-year-old who was unrestrained in the suspect’s vehicle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Two people were arrested and both face criminal traffic and narcotics charges.
