
Interests along the Mississippi Gulf Coast are still keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Fred, as it is expected to make landfall on the western Florida Panhandle sometime today.
Residents along the Gulf Coast should know that some gusty winds and street flooding in low-lying areas could be possible.
A Coastal Flood Advisory will continue through Tuesday at 7 a.m.
Fred is forecast to slightly strengthen until it makes landfall Monday over the Florida panhandle as a tropical storm. Gulf Coast residents should be aware of the chance for minor coastal flooding, with rainfall amounts from 1 to 2 inches expected through Tuesday morning.
A disorganized Tropical Storm Grace continues to move across the Caribbean Sea. As of yesterday, Tropical-storm-force winds only extend outward up to 35 miles from the center according to the National Hurricane Center.
