Due to public health and safety concerns and after consulting with State and Parish government and health officials, the City of Slidell decided to postpone White Linen and Lagniappe 2021, which was set for Saturday, August 14.
Mayor Greg Cromer called White Linen and Lagniappe one of his favorite events and said he knows many citizens were looking forward to it. Cromer said he hated to postpone it but with the increase in COVID numbers, he said it was the right thing to do.
He closed by saying many Olde Towne businesses will open on Saturday night and he encourages citizens to support all of Slidell’s local businesses.
