The Hammond DDD says Railroad Park is officially under construction.
Railroad Park, which will be located at #2 W. Thomas Street, opened for construction with an official groundbreaking ceremony earlier this week.
Community members gathered to commemorate the start of the project and see the space once more before construction begins.
Official Railroad Park bricks were also sold, which will be installed in the park during construction.
