St Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper is reaching out to his citizens with a plea to mask up and vaccinate.
He said St. Tammany’s COVID-19 percent positivity just reached 17.7%, topping a previous December 2020 record, 16.7.
He said local hospitals were reaching capacity.
Cooper said we can do this, together, please wear a mask, and get your shot.
