The St Tammany Parish School System says the safety of students and employees is their top priority.
Per the governor’s order, masks are now required to be worn in all STPPS schools and buildings for students in grades K-12 and all adults. Masks are highly recommended for children ages 2-4.
They said they will continue to update parents as new information is released. Their plans for the 2021-2022 school year will be fluid and follow local, state and national guidance.

They closed by saying regardless of what the first day of school looks like, together, they will be ready to educate children, prepare them for success and have a great school year.
