West 30’s Redemption Company, a faith-based, non-profit, affordable housing organization based in Covington, will be hosting a ground-breaking ceremony for 8 new houses to be built in the West 30’s neighborhood adjacent to downtown Covington.
Construction is kicking off this month and the houses will be completed this fall.
This project is becoming a reality in part through the creative financing provided by Citizen’s Bank and Trust.
Eight families have already been selected as the first-time homeowners for these new houses. Each house is supported by a Faith Partner church and by a Business Partner company who has contributed at least $2,500 toward the house cost.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be Friday, August 6th at 10:30 a.m.
