Slidell Police detectives Kyle Taylor and Joel Hoskins were recently awarded two national and regional awards for their hard work in solving a multi-state burglary ring.
Back in 2019 a local Slidell car dealership, Matt Bowers Chevrolet, was burglarized of over $100,000 of wheels and tires.
These two detectives solved the case.
Bowers presented the detectives with their awards.
Slidell Police Chief Randy Fandal said it sent a message to other thieves that they may want to think twice before stopping in Slidell.
