Road overlay operations should resume on Monday, weather permitting, according to Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller.
Miller said the contractor has faced numerous challenges with weather issues in recent weeks.
Work planned during the week of July 12 includes Asphalt overlay on Arena, Brumfield, Caroline, Harvey, Midway, Buckles Lane, Old Genessee, Webster, and Michelli; Asphalt patching on Harvey, Caroline, Dykes, Steptoe, Ruffino, Wilson, North Cooper, and Arline; Milling on Ruffino and North Cooper; Shoulder work on R Harper, Morgan Howes, Wheat Crest, Osceola, Phoenix Square, North Oak, and Dummyline; and Three course treatment work on Wyndotte, Robert Vernon, Sandy Hollow, Houltonwood, Glen Alford, J Rowden, Voight, St. Alexander, and Arline.
Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the construction period.
