
On Monday, Ochsner Health began enrolling children five and under for its Pfizer vaccine trials.
At the beginning of June, Ochsner Health began testing the vaccine’s effectiveness on children between six and 11.
Pfizer is already approved for anyone 12 and older.
Parent of participants in the study will not find out if their children received the actual vaccine or a placebo for six months. Regardless, each participant will get two shots, but the dose will be smaller than what adults receive.
