At approximately 3:15am on Saturday morning the Hammond Fire Department was notified of a residential structure fire on Hwy 190 just west of I -55.
Upon arrival HFD found a fully involved 2 story residence. HFD and HRFD attacked the fire with several hand lines and the ladder truck.
No injuries were reported and the fire was brought under control.
