New Orleans police are investigating an early morning shooting late Saturday that injured eight people.
The shooting happened in the 10100 block of South I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East.
The NOPD said it happened about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the victims were at the location for a gathering. Victims’ injuries range from critical to minor. A woman is in critical condition after she was shot in the face. Two victims were taken to area hospitals via EMS, and six others were taken by private vehicles.
