U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy, a medical doctor representing Louisiana in the Senate, said he recommends children 12 and up get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Cassidy said the vaccination would also prevent the child from spreading the virus to a loved one. The FDA this week approved Pfizer’s vaccine for emergency use for children ages 12 to 15.
