Last week, as part of National Travel and Tourism Week, the St Tammany Tourist Commission put out a video where local tourist leaders talk about where their business came from.
St. Tammany Parish is the 4th largest tourism economy in the state of Louisiana, with 2.63 Million visitors in 2019 who spent over $771+ Million when they visited. The Tourist Commission says as a result, St. Tammany residents enjoy over $1,000 in tax savings each year.
