A suspect in an attempted 2nd degree murder case was arrested while purchasing a firearm.
21 YO Tylen Edwards was in the process of purchasing a gun from a local firearms store when the warrant check on Edwards showed three active warrants with the Ponchatoula Police Department. Street Crimes Agents were notified and they located Edwards at the firearms store and placed him under arrest for the outstanding warrants. He had in his possession a newly purchased long gun with a 30-round magazine.
