While rain delayed some of the overlay work planned last week, Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be back at work today with a full week of construction plans.
On the schedule for this week’s overlay is asphalt patching on Broadwalk, Campbell, Travis, Pleasant Ridge, and East Hoffman, Schum, F. Joiner, Morgan Howes, Live Oak, Brown, and Ciolino. Asphalt overlay is scheduled on East Hoffman, Ciolino, and Harden Street Extension. Crews will be milling Brown Road, River Crest, R. Harper, Octavia, Freret, and Phoenix Square. Shoulder work is planned on Ciolino, Pleasant Ridge, and East Hoffman. Soil cement work is scheduled on Campbell Lane.
All work is weather-permitting, Miller said. Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the construction period.
