St. Tammany Health System continues to balance COVID-19 patient care along with all the routine and emergency care they have always provided.
COVID inpatient census yesterday was 4, among a total adult census of 139. They have discharged 1,104 patients from COVID care since the pandemic began, and administered 21,901 vaccines against this disease since December.
STHS says it is vaccination that will ultimately help our community achieve herd immunity and enable public life to return to prior levels. All residents are urged to get vaccinated, wear a mask and isolate when ill. These measures are making a difference.
St. Tammany Health System schedules COVID-19 vaccination appointments through MyChart or 985-898-4001, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Appointment times are throughout the workday, and locations include Express Care in front of Flower Estates and the Cordes Pavilion on Bootlegger Rd., as well as rotations at physician clinics in Folsom, Madisonville, Mandeville and Covington, often held on Saturdays.
