Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,259 new #COVID19 cases reported since last Thursday.
The total number of cases reported to the state is 446,737.
98.5% of the cases reported were community spread. 1.5% of the cases reported were in congregate settings.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (25%) and ages 30 and 39 (19%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 4 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 10,165.
There were 292 people in hospitals and 49 requited ventilators.
The Department is reporting an additional 86,626 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 2,045,266 doses, including 834,087 completed two-dose series.
