Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, the group behind the proposed casino project in Slidell, invited the public to join their Facebook Live Town Hall event last night.
For such a controversial proposal, the crowd online last night was small This online event was supposed to allow people to share ideas, ask questions and get additional information about the proposed Entertainment Resort and Casino this group wants to develop near Slidell.
If this concept does successfully navigate its way through Baton Rouge and then the local council chambers, St Tammany citizens could be voting on it before the end of the year.
