The Northshore Community Foundation is noting that it has been more than a year since former St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister passed away and the Foundation has launched several initiatives in her memory, including two annual scholarships and an ongoing nonprofit grant.
The grants will support Northshore nonprofits who are committed to working for the greater good. The Pat Brister Legacy Grant will be offered four times over the next year as an award of up to $5,000 to support a local nonprofit who is impacting the Northshore and has a demonstrated connection to Brister.
