The dogs kennels at Northshore Humane Society on Harrison Ave. were flooded from yesterday’s storms.
With severe rain continuing, the no-kill shelter is calling for the community’s help by temporarily fostering one of their homeless dogs.
Northshore Humane Society is asking the community to help in several ways. Temporary foster homes are desperately needed through the weekend. A homeless shelter is no place for a dog to spend during severe weather. If you can open your home to one of their dogs, please apply at https://www.northshorehumane.org or stop by any time between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday, March 24th. Monetary donations and/or donations of towels and blankets are also needed. Donations of supplies like towels, blankets and cleaning supplies can be dropped off any time the shelter is open.
