There will be a Volunteer Litter Cleanup in Hammond in District 1, will be Saturday, March 27, 2021, 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Meet at ‘Martin Luther King Park’ at 600 Martin Luther King Ave. Pick-up sticks, vests, gloves and trash bags will be distributed. This event is organized by Councilman Andrews from Council District 1, Keep Hammond Beautiful committee and the City of Hammond. This activity can be used for students who need service hours or Community Service hour requirements.
