Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,334 new #COVID19 cases.
This was the first update since Friday. 99% of the cases reported were community spread.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (19%) and ages 30 and 39 (17%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 42 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 10,030.
403 were in hospitals with 71 requiring ventilators.
The Department reported an additional 105,877 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 1,622,640 doses, including 611,494 completed two-dose series.
As of yesterday’s update, more than 1,000,000 Louisianians have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines.
