
Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 750 new @COVID19 cases, bringing the state’s total to 433,785.
The vast majority (98%) of the new cases were tied to community spread, rather than transmission in congregate settings. These cases came from all age groups and regions of the state, with a notable share coming from Region 2, or the Baton Rouge area (22%). They also reported another 32 COVID deaths, bringing the death toll to 9,748. There were 532 people in hospitals and 75 required ventilators.
