Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 770 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases reported to 431,271.
Of the cases, 536 were confirmed and 234 were probable. 98% of the cases reported were community spread. Individuals between the ages of 40 and 49 (18%) and 50 and 59 (17%) accounted for the largest portions of the cases.
There were 19 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 9,647.
629 people remained in hospitals with 89 of them requiring ventilators.
