Hammond Police Narcotics Detectives recently began an investigation about possible drug dealing in the South Cherry Street area.
HPD and were able to obtain information that Ashley Nettles, 32 years old of Hammond, was selling numerous narcotics from her residence. Detectives were also able to obtain a search warrant for the residence. On February 25, 2021, HPD Narcotics Detectives, HPD Street Crimes Unit and the 7th Ward Marshal’s Office searched the residence and found 2.7 grams of heroin, 4.1 grams of meth, numerous hydrocodone pills, drug paraphernalia and cash. The following suspects were arrested: Ashley Nettles, 32 years old of Hammond, Gilbert Robertson, 40 years old of Hammond, Jillian Bihm, 40 years old of Hammond, and Nicholas Frost, 38 years old of Hammond.
They face numerous drug charges.
