
Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 879 new #COVID19 cases.
Of those cases, 526 were confirmed and 353 were probable. 97% of the cases reported were community spread. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (20%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases. There were 25 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 9,528. 687 people remained in hospitals with 102 requiring ventilators. Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes both dropped in their percent positivity numbers and also dropped from Highest to a High ranking. St Tammany’s numbers rose slightly and remains in the Highest risk category.
